Mirage Hardwood Floors

Mirage Hardwood floors stems from Boa-Franc Inc. and is a leader in North America in manufacturing superior quality hardwood flooring founded in 1979. In the 2003 survey "What Retailers Think", from the trade magazine Floor Focus declared that 'everyone in the industry knows Mirage products are the best in the market.' Mirage has several types of characteristics within their wood species, grains, stains, finishes, strip length and width to their series collections.

Their series collections include the Mirage Classic, Mirage Engineered and Herringbone Series. Three grading styles are included within their collections. Select & Better Grade are the most consistent strips with variations that are natural in color. Exclusive Grade is a varied selection of strips balanced with about 75% Select and Better Grade and 25% Traditional Grade. Traditional Grades are more distinctive in their natural color variations with petite, healthy knots offering a rustic look. With a vast selection of stains they offer a discrete style from classic to the bravest trends. Types of finishes vary in the series collections. Mirage Classic offers a semi-gloss and satin gloss finish. Mirage Engineered Series offers semi-gloss and cashmere gloss. Herringbone Series offers a semi-gloss.

What a better way to produce Mirage's quality floors than by their P-7 manufacturing process that adds superior stability and is verified before processing and then to storing by using ideal temperature and humidity levels. They verify their wood strips to insure quality and offer a tongue and groove fit for easy installation. Strips are even sanded using a high-precision process that makes it possible to achieve the smallest, most uniform Micro-V joint in the industry. Uniform coloring evenly stained and cured in hot air off and finished off with Alumix® that uses UV protection that virtually eliminates the oxidation causes wood to darken over yellow over time.

It's easy to conclude that Mirage offers some of the finest hardwood floors around. Since they established themselves in 1979, this little brother in the hardwood flooring industry has matured quickly by presenting competitive spirit with unique quality.
